Goldenote - C-4 Centre Channel Speaker
The C-4 is a centre channel speaker which has two 4-inch treated paper bass drivers complementing a 1-inch pure silk dome tweeter.
The insistence on using only the finest hand-made parts ensures a no-compromise build and sound quality giving exemplary behaviour even from such a slim speaker design.
The two 4 inch drivers, made under strict specification, are special treated paper units enabling exceptionally fast transient response while reflecting the naturalness of the music played. The Tweeter is a pure silk dome that reproduces clean high frequencies even at high volume levels as a result of the unusual design of the new double magnet motor.
The veneered Cabinet is made using the Speaker-Resonator™ technology. It is made with an internal 1mm thick real mahogany veneer to increase the general structural rigidity. The wall thicknesses are different and treated like a “violin” resonator allowing the music to ‘breathe’ through the speakers.
The front double bass reflex port is specifically tuned with the cabinet which enables, together with the crossover network, a perfect phase integration between the drivers, allowing a natural and coherent blend of midrange frequencies.
The hand built crossovers utilises only the finest parts available, including custom polypropylene capacitors and air wound coils, ensuring the highest level of transparency and image focus.
The C-4 has deep bass, high power handling, lush high frequency response and a huge three dimensionality sound stage making it ideal for critical audiophile lovers.
