Goldenote - A6
The A-6 is a 2 and a half way design with two 5-inch treated paper bass/midrange units complementing a 1-inch pure silk dome tweeter.
Goldenote`s insistence on using only the finest hand-made parts ensures a no-compromise build and sound quality giving exemplary behaviour even with such a slim speaker design.
The Subwoofer and Bass/Mid drivers, made to Goldenote`s strict specification, are specially treated paper units enabling an exceptionally fast transient response whilst reflecting the naturalness of the music played.
The new Tweeter is a pure silk dome that reproduces clean high frequencies even at high volume levels as a result of the unusual design of the double magnet motor specifically tuned for the Goldenote design.
The veneered Cabinet is manufactured using Goldenote’s Speaker-Resonator™ technology. It is made with an internal 1mm thick real mahogany extra veneer to increase the general structural rigidity. The wall thicknesses differ and like a “violin” resonator allow the music to ‘breathe’ through the speakers.
The A-6 cabinet has a separate 18 litre chamber that can be filled with sand increasing the total mass for an even more controlled bass response.
The two front bass reflex ports are specifically tuned with the cabinet which enables, together with the Bluenote crossover network, a perfect phase integration between the drivers, allowing a natural and coherent blend of midrange frequencies.
The hand built crossovers utilise only the finest parts available, including custom Bluenote polypropylene capacitors and air wound coils, ensuring the highest level of transparency and image focus.
The speaker is magnetically shielded to offer an exceptional audio and visual experience in high-quality home cinema installations, where the speaker needs to be placed particularly close to the screen.
The A-6 has much deeper bass than one would expect from such a slim design. Its lush high frequency response and huge three dimensional sound stage make it ideal for critical audiophiles.
