Blacknote - DSS 15i Tube - Digital Streamer

The DSS15i TUBE, is the Blacknote basic Digital Static Streamer iMproved Tube powered with an output tube stage amplifier.
A Digital streamer is a multi media player capable of processing any kind of audio format through any kind of external USB device (flash memories).
The DSS15i TUBE is a total free jitter unit able to play and convert perfectly any audio signal.
The DSSi line is based around an exclusive Linux platform developed to play 24bit high definition music as much as any kind of lower format.
The DSS15i features two 2.0 USB ports on the front panel.
The USB ports support flash memories as USB memory stick and Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The USB memories properly stored with music files can play directly music simply being hooked to the DSSi unit for maximum simplicity and convenience.
The DSSi line powered all the USB ports with a proper voltage line to enhance music performance and guarantee working clear functioning conditions with any kind of self powered peripherals.
The DSSi also can play any kind of CD-Rom drive transport directly form the USB ports allows the units to work as traditional CD/DVD audio Player.
All the DSSi line, thru its RS232 port, also supports the DSF external screen to simplify the music library browsing.
The big power supply is decoupled thru two “fused silicon” transformers specially shaped by Analog Device.
The DSS15i also works as 24bit high definition D/A Converter and Digital Source thru its S/PDIF ports or AES/EBU on demand.
The DSS15i TUBE features a superior quality tube analog output stage based on two 6922 valves. Such new separately powered output stage is a truly balanced design no-matching any transistor in order to get the highest sonic performance.
