Goldenote - Demidoff Signature
The Demidoff Signature is a single-ended Multi Transformer solid state stereo integrated amplifier.
As with all the Demidoff series, the Signature is 60% handcrafted to maximise performance in every single stage of the manufacturing process.
It uses the Bluenote proprietary Mirror-Amp™ pre-amp section which consists of a gain stage made with a special cascade differential amplifier employing a mirror current.
This configuration produces a super-linear signal, virtually eliminating distortion. The power supply is managed by 12 massive transformers specifically made for Goldenote. Four custom Golden transformers work as “pure” power energy suppliers while the remaining eight are decoupling transformers, mechanically isolated, designed to filter the DC power coming into the Mirror-Amp™ preamplifier section. Such massive inductive power supply guarantees the lowest interference from the AC power source.
All strategic power & audio sections are wired with RSC™ bars (Rectangular Solid Copper bars). The RSC™ bar is a 6mm wide by 0.5mm thick electrolytic 99.9999% OFC copper bar providing a super conductive rail with the lowest skin effect obtainable.
As with all Goldenote amplifiers the DEMIDOFF SIGNATURE does not have any active or passive filters or protective switches on the audio signal path. Instead, Bluenote designed specific passive thermal switches that shut off the amplifier power when the internal temperature reaches 80°Celsius (180°Fahrenheit). This offers protection for dangerous operating conditions and enables the amplifier to produce its best sonic performance.
The DEMIDOFF SIGNATURE amplifier is equipped with two high precision blue fluorescent Vu-Meters and a remote control for volume, both powered by a dedicated transformer to avoid any interference on the signal path that could affect the sound quality.
The chassis is completely made of high-mass aluminium to minimize RFI and EMI interference, thus ensuring completely non-magnetic casework.
The DEMIDOFF SIGNATURE supports a wide range of inductive and resistance loads so it can be matched with any kind of audio cable, allowing users to employ their favourite combination.
The extensive use of the very finest, custom built electronic components ensures the ultimate level of sonic performance.
As with all the Goldenote amplifiers the Demidoff Signature is equipped with Goldenote custom design connectors. The Signature in particular features high quality gold plated solid copper speaker connectors insulated through Teflon® washers and Bolts.
The DEMIDOFF SIGNATURE is the first Goldenote STATE OF THE ART amplifier.
