The Demidoff Diamond is a state of the art, two massive chassis solid state stereo integrated Amplifier providing high current combined with super high efficiency. It uses single ended `Multi-Powered` transformers, handcrafted to ensure the highest level of control in every stage of the circuit.
The Demidoff Diamond uses the very finest implementation of the Mirror-Amp™ pre-amp. This deploys a gain stage made with a proprietary cascade differential amplifier with a mirror current, providing a super-linear signal virtually eliminating distortion. The output section implements one further improvement to the Demidoff series. It has been modified to have the highest dynamic power, linearity and efficiency resulting in an unbelievably smooth sound performance.
The power supply, in a separate chassis, is managed by 18 massive transformers made specifically to a strict specification. Eight custom Golden transformers wired with silver alloy work as “pure” power energy suppliers. Another eight Transformers, mechanically isolated, are used as power decouplers filtering the DC power entering the preamplifier Mirror-Amp™ stage. Such a massive inductive power supply guarantees the lowest interference from AC power. All the strategic power & audio sections are wired with Rounded Solid Silver bars. The RSS is a 2mm diameter bar made with 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% electrolytic OFC. It provides the very best conductivity available.
The input wires are connected to the customised selector with a 2.5mm silver cable specifically made for this ultimate Amplifier. The dedicated audio section of the Demidoff Diamond is contained in a separate chassis specifically made for the audio signal only. The audio output stage is made with two RSS rails built around the proprietary active cryogenic refrigerator, the CRB™. The CRB™ allows the amplifier to work at a very low temperature producing the highest conductivity available acting as a virtual “super conductor”. As per all the Demidoff amplifiers, the Diamond does not have active nor passive filters on the audio signal. They have designed specific passive thermal switches to switch the amplifier power off completely if it reaches a critical power transistor temperature.
Its chassis is completely made of aluminium and stainless steel to minimize RFI and EMI interference through having a completely non-magnetic environment! The Demidoff Diamond has two high precision Blue Fluorescent Vu-Meters and a remote control for the volume, both powered by a dedicated transformer to avoid any kind of interferences on the signal path that could affect the sound quality. The Demidoff Diamond supports a wide range of inductive and resistance loads so it can be matched with any kind of audio cable, allowing users to employ their favourite wiring combination. The use of customised components matched with such an innovative separate power stage ensures a superior high level of sonic performance.
The Demidoff Diamond is equipped with all custom design connectors. It features high quality solid silver speaker connectors insulated through Teflon® washers and Bolts.
